Applications
This product is a non-ionic surfactant, which can reduce the interfacial tension. It can be used as an emulsifier, wetting agent, dispersant, solubilizer, etc., and can be used as a defoamer to form a complex with starch to prevent protein denaturation.

This product is non-toxic, non-irritating to the skin and mucous membranes, and is generally considered safe. The oral LD50 of rats is 30g/kg.
