Source and Preparation
This product is prepared by saponification of stearic acid and sodium hydroxide, containing a mixture of sodium stearate and sodium palmitate, but mainly sodium stearate.

Incompatibilities
This product and magnesium stearate is basically the same, meet oxidant, inorganic acid or strong organic acid (such as acetic acid) and other compatibility changes.
