Nanotechnology drug delivery systems have promoted the development of many nanoformulations and greatly promoted the clinical transformation of nanoformulations. With the development of therapeutic drugs, nanotechnology drug delivery strategies need to meet the changing needs of nanoformulation drug delivery. CD Formulation pays close attention to the development and clinical transformation of nanoformulations, tries and explore the research of nanotechnology drug delivery systems, and has constructed a variety of specific nanotechnology platforms to help medical researchers successfully develop nanoformulations with clinical application value.
The goal of nanotechnology drug delivery is to passively or actively transport and release nanoformulations to the target site, and to minimize drug off-target effects to maximize the therapeutic effect of the drug. Nanotechnology drug delivery systems can also increase drug solubility, change drug distribution in the body, and improve drug targeting, thereby improving therapeutic effects and reducing the incidence of adverse reactions. Therefore, nanotechnology is widely used in drug delivery systems. The application of nanotechnology in drug delivery systems has the following advantages.

Nanotechnology-based in vitro delivery is a method of delivering exogenous substances such as drugs or genes from outside the cell into the cell under in vitro conditions.
Nanoparticle in vitro delivery system is a technology that uses nanoscale particles as carriers to deliver organic small molecules or biological macromolecules to cells and tissues to be studied. These nanoparticles mainly include lipid-based nanoparticles, polymer nanoparticle carriers (such as polymer micelles, and dendrimers), inorganic nanoparticle carriers (gold nanoparticles, nanospheres, nanorods, nanostars, nanoshells, nanocages, magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles, calcium phosphate and mesoporous silica nanoparticles), etc.
Physically mediated in vitro delivery is a method of using exogenous forces or fields to mediate the entry of exogenous substances to be delivered into cells. Physically mediated in vitro delivery methods we use mainly include microinjection and electroporation delivery.
We have developed a series of nanoformulation delivery platforms based on nanotechnology drug delivery systems, which effectively improve the efficiency of drug delivery. Nanotechnology drug delivery systems can be mainly divided into inorganic nanomaterials, polymeric nanomaterials, and lipid nanomaterials. We can reasonably modify and functionalize these delivery systems and select reasonable delivery systems to achieve efficient and accurate nanotechnology-based in vivo drug delivery.
CD Formulation has always been at the forefront of nanoformulation formulation development. With the support of our advanced nanotechnology platform, we provide customized formulation development services for nanoformulations, covering nanoparticles, nanoemulsions, nanocrystals, nanosuspensions, nanogels, etc. Our technical team has deeply studied nanotechnology and applications and is able to develop nanoformulations for different purposes. We have always been working tirelessly to promote the rapid development of clinical transformation and commercial application of nanoformulations.

The authors summarize the different nanotechnology-based delivery systems used to treat and manage diseases affecting the anterior ocular tissues, such as micelles, nanosuspensions, nanoparticles, nanoemulsions, liposomes, dendrimers, liposomes, cubes, and nanowafers, which have emerged as effective alternatives to conventional ocular delivery systems for the treatment of anterior segment diseases. The authors also examine the challenges in translating these systems into clinical applications and the promise of nanocarriers as vehicles for the delivery of phytoactive compounds to the anterior segment of the eye.
