Cardiovascular Disease Therapies

Nanoparticles can improve the targeting of drugs to overcome biological barriers. New nanocarriers that enter the blood circulation can be selectively taken up by immune cells to modulate the inflammatory process and migrate locally to plaques to deliver therapeutic payloads. We inject designed nanoparticles into the vasculature or target blood vessels to achieve the purpose of treating heart-related diseases such as atherosclerosis, hypertension, and myocardial infarction.
