To enhance targeted drug delivery, we in-depthly analyze the properties, surface functions, and applications of polymeric nanoparticles, such as their unique structure and biocompatibility. They have widespread biomedical applications in targeted cells, ocular delivery, vaccine delivery, etc.
Polymeric nanoparticles can achieve targeted drug delivery, prevent unstable substances (including proteins, peptides, and DNA) due to their biodegradability, biocompatibility, non-toxicity, prolonged blood flow, and broad therapeutic drug loading spectrum, and regulate drug release. Using polymeric nanoparticle technologies, we develop targeted delivery systems to deliver targeted drugs.
Polymeric nanoparticles can overcome the problems of typical anticancer drugs, such as their poor water solubility, rapid elimination, and lack of selectivity, and reduce the degree of anticancer reaching cancer tissues. The targeted delivery system based on drug-loaded polymeric nanoparticles we created can be used to deliver anti-tumor therapies to targets in specific sites over a longer period of time for cancer therapy. Depending on our powerful nanotechnology platforms, host cytotoxic agents, small interfering RNA, chemosensitizers, and anti-angiogenic agents are designed and prepared to accelerate cancer studies.
To discover effective initial detection, diagnosis, and treatment methods, we have developed polymeric nanoparticle delivery platforms. Polymeric nanoparticles can be used for cancer diagnosis and imaging, including breast, lung, colon, rectal, and prostate cancers, due to their ability to modify the surface and control the solubility of implants to image cancer cells.
We leverage the leading polymeric nanocarrier technologies to synthesize special polymeric nanocarriers to deliver the drugs to the eye for treating ocular diseases.
Our customized polymeric dendrimers can promote cellular uptake into certain cell types and thus improve the bioavailability of drugs to treat neurodegenerative diseases.
At our polymeric nanoparticle technology platform, CD Formulation has explored and researched multiple fabrication methods of polymeric nanoparticles in disease treatment, catering to customers' different requirements.
Technology: 5-boronopicolinic acid (BA) modified tumor-targeting drug delivery systems (T-DDSs) with strong tumor-targeting function
Journal: Biomaterials Advances
IF: 5.5
Published: 2021
Results:
5-boronic acid (BA)-modified tumor-targeted drug delivery systems (T-DDSs) established by the authors have strong tumor-targeting functions. The extremely high targeting function and biocompatibility of T-DDSs improved their drug delivery efficiency and achieved good anti-tumor effects. This study shows that BA-modified T-DDS is used to design and prepare DDS with good biocompatibility and strong tumor specificity to improve drug delivery efficiency.
