Gel-based transdermal formulations offer an efficient route for drug administration to the skin, mucous membranes, and cavities. These formulations are typically solutions, suspensions, or emulsions combined with non-toxic, biodegradable excipients to form semi-solid or thick liquids. The preparation process is straightforward, and the formulations have applications in dermatology, ophthalmology, and gastrointestinal health. By targeting affected areas, transdermal gels improve drug efficacy and reduce systemic side effects, making them a preferred choice for localized treatment. At CD Formulation, we specialize in supporting transdermal gel development, leveraging advanced scientific methods to provide effective, convenient drug delivery systems.
Gel transdermal systems ensure continuous drug release and penetration by applying medication directly to the skin. Key benefits include:

Results: This systematic review aims to identify the most commonly used techniques for topical drug delivery using gel-based topical formulations in skin cancer treatment. The excipients used, the preparation approaches, and the methods characterizing gels are discussed in brief. The safety aspects are also highlighted. The combinatorial formulation of nanocarrier-loaded gels is also reviewed from the perspective of improving drug delivery characteristics. Some limitations and drawbacks in the identified strategies are also outlined and considered within the future scope of topical chemotherapy.
Our gel formulation development, using the world's leading nanotechnology, ensures that the active ingredient can efficiently and stably penetrate the skin or mucosal barrier, directly to the lesion or the target tissue, achieving precise treatment and deep nourishment. Whether skin care, pain management, or drug delivery systems, we strive to be exact, efficient, and safe. If you have any needs, please feel free to contact us and our colleagues will reply to you within three working days.
