CD Formulation's skilled team performs solid-state and liquid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy to characterize a wide range of materials from small inorganic and organic compounds. We have NMR capabilities to analyze large biologics such as biopolymers, unmodified and modified peptides, proteins, DNA, RNA, which are the fastest growing molecule types of drugs currently in development.

NMR spectroscopy along with modern spectroscopy provides higher resolution and sensitivity. Qualitative and quantitative NMR (qNMR) analysis is possible, including method development and validation of all available liquid and solid NMR techniques. Our services include the following:
In addition to the above, we can also analyze samples of unlabeled drugs, samples of intermediates of drug synthesis and samples for drug application for approval.
Simple sample preparation method, less sample pre-processing, easy quality control, low cost of sample preparation, low risk of sample contamination and loss.
Simultaneous identification and detection. In some conventional drug analysis and detection processes, the identification and quantitative detection of substances are two separate processes, while NMR experiments can provide information on the structure and content of substances at the same time, and the identification and determination of substances in a sample can be completed in one sample preparation (or even one experiment).
Universal applicability to organic substances: NMR experiments (especially 1H NMR experiments) are a non-biased test method, which can achieve the simultaneous identification and analysis of multiple components in a mixture, providing a more liberal space for the selection of benchmarks in quantitative analysis.
The unique ability of NMR to identify isomers is unmatched by many testing techniques (e.g., chromatography and mass spectrometry).
In addition, as a "non-invasive" and low-consumption technique, NMR requires little additional consumables other than sample preparation reagents, and samples can be recovered without damage, making NMR an economical and environmentally friendly technique.
