Vitamin oral thin films usually are manufactured according to the casting method of different steps. Generally, a water-based mixture is prepared at first, under the control of the temperature and the stirring speed of the mixer. Afterward, the mixture is spread on the intermediate liner and dried in a drying tunnel, controlling temperature, air circulation, and coating speed. The roll of dry mass is submitted to the slitting process to cut the roll in the reels with the first dimension of the final surface of the films. In the last step, the thin films are punched, pouched, and sealed in suitable single-dose sachets using a pouch-forming and sealing machine. |
